Kilts and trews with your Clan tartan look fantastic in wedding photos, and are a great way to add a bit of family history to the photo album. Similarly for other weddings guests, make the most of your ethnicity by representing your ancestry in something that you wear, whether it’s an Indian sari or kimono or simply a silk scarf or jewelry with a traditional design, you will add a bit of the exotic to the day.
A great gift idea from friends is for them to take a laptop to the wedding. They can periodically download digital photos and movies from everyone at the wedding to put together a fantastic slideshow of the day‘s events. The wedding photographer can’t be everywhere at once, and other wedding guests may capture a moment in time on their own camera that would otherwise be missed by the happy couple.
Honeymoon Wedding Gifts
If the happy couple have arranged a honeymoon then a lovely gift would be to arrange for a limousine to take them to the airport or the hotel. Friends could club together to give them this little treat and throw in a bottle of champagne. If friends are well-heeled or numerous then you could even arrange for them to fly by helicopter! What a fantastic way to start their holiday.
If helicopters are a bit too flash or impractical then a great alternative gift is to arrange for champagne and flowers, or champagne and fruit basket for their hotel room. Some hotels include this in a honeymoon package for the first night so perhaps you could arrange a treat for another evening or supplement their hotel package with additional treatments at the spa or beauty parlor as an alternative gift. Failing that you could arrange for them to have an extra course of oyster’s for the first honeymoon meal together!
